Science Lab

Today in science lab we learned about different kinds of energy. We watched a video about early people and how they contributed to earths energy today. I thought it was cool how some of the modern stuff like windmills actually started hundreds of years ago. The class also had to fill out a worksheet on what we leaned in the video, along with true or false questions. Overall I thought today's lab was very informative and i enjoyed it a lot.

Computer Lab 2

Today in computer lab, we did some very useful things. We got to visit a math and science site called bitesize math. I liked todays lab because I got to go back and not only review some old skills, but take a practice test on them too! After today I feel a little more confident in my work. Another thing that I got to learn a little more about was reflex angles. At first, I did not understand them at all, but now I understand them completely. In conclusion I found this a very useful lab.

The Sea of Monsters

The Sea of Monsters, by Rick Riordan is a great story. This sequel to The Lightning Thief  is quite the thriller. Life was pretty mellow for Percy after his last quest, at least until he faces giant Cyclopses in a dodgeball match. It turns out that the borders of camp half-blood were fading and the only way to regenerate them was to retreive the golden fleece from a far away land. While Percy and his friends are on theis quest, Percy learns many things about himself. One of the most exciting facts was that Percy has a long lost Cyclopse brother!! Anyways after battling some pretty nasty monsters,  Percy and his friends end up retrieving the fleece and saving the camp. Percy is now back to his normal every day life, at least for now...

Computer Lab

Today in computer lab we got to explore a couple of websites. The websites had a lot of interesting videos based on various topics. Some of these topics include math, grammer and inveniting random stuff. I enjoyed todays lab because I can definately see myself going back and visiting some of these sites. I found it very interesting how the man from Khan Acadamy started in his own hoese and worked his way up to meeting Bill Gates!!! Anyways I found todays labvery helpful and interesting!
